Armrest/Emergency Break Console

Hi There,

Still finding my way around my 78 Corvette. Seems as though the center Armrest where the emergency brake is slipped back showing a gap now between it and the Gear Shift console. Do these things "shrink" with age? Doe they need to be replaced to solve the issue?

Cruise-In II Veteran

It's a color coordinated vinyl cover and has tabs which fit into corresponding slots in the metal bracket under it.

Thanks, I saw new ones online that seemed to have what looks like two tabs in the front of it towards where the gear shift console is. I'll take a look at it when I get home this evening and see. Appreciate the response, Thanks Mike!
