Default I'm vette-less…….

I sold my vette today. My kids were sad. And so am I. The new owner will take good/great care of it. I was immediately going to get another. But one of the stipulations my youngest daughter (14 yrs old) gave me in order to sell it, was I had to get a 54-57 chevrolet pickup for us to work on. So when she's 18 she'll have her first vehicle. So i won't be a vette owner for some time. Im planning on getting the ride I really want when I retire in 7 years. I'll still be snooping around here. Thank you to EVERYONE for their help and support the last few years. If you see or know of a project 54-57 chevy pickup. Please holler. Thanks David.

Don't be a stranger David, won't be the same without you. Wish you were closer, I'd buy your ramps. All the best.

Owning a c3 corvette is great but
Building an old truck with/for your daughter, especially because it's her idea, is priceless!

I still have them, I placed them in the corner of the garage now. They do come in handy. But are cumbersome to move.

Well glad to hear your sale went well, but sad that you had to let it go. Wouldn't mind seeing the truck build that you and kiddo end up with.

Bad news: You're Vette-less
Good news: There are still buyers for C3's

I haven't been Vette-less since 1973, but I hope to join your club soon.

Enjoy the pick-up project with your daughter, sounds like a lot of fun!

The guy who purchased my vette, just sold his 2004 vette two weeks ago. He wanted something with more style, he said.

Guess you could always buy the old Chevy pickup and put it on a vette chassis. Now that would be a project!

$15600. I believe our cars are worth more. But for some reason they don't bring in the $$ like chrome. So I set my price being realistic.

Wow! I know your car was very nice and you had a lot of work in it, but I am amazed at that price. I think you did very well on the sale. Congratulations. Thanks for the info.

I wish my friend was the one who got your Vette. She asked me to get your number and I thought she would be all over that good lookin machine.

I contemplated selling my '52 Chevy half ton, but I know I would regret it if I did, as would my 4 year old grandson.

Good luck on finding a big window bowtie!
