Default Yet Another Exhaust Thread: Chambered?

These "Help me decide what exhaust..." Threads are popping up like tulips as the snow recedes.

...and here I go starting one of my own.

I have a New to Me 1973. 350 manual. Nice driver.

Stock mufflers are doing their job too well. I'd like to have a more aggressive sound. Not trying to make my lousy 190 horses sound like 300, but just would like a better auditory experience.

I've seen enough of the Great Flowmaster vs Magnaflow Debate to decide that neither is really what I'm looking to get.

I really like the idea of replacing the mufflers with a set of chambered pipes. I even considered just removing the mufflers completely and putting in straight pipes.

Any experience with this or similar solutions?

I'm running chambered exhaust and love the sound of them. I get a ton of positive attention. Someday I need to change mine out as I build my car closer to original but that's one of my last changes because I love the sound.

I am going to change the exhaust on my car soon. I am not sure which way I want to go, Flowmaster's or chambered exhaust. From what I have heard, I like the sound of both!

I put under-car chambered pipes on my '70 big block and the sound, to me, is incredible. It's got a lot of bark and pop, really draws attention. Let us know what you do and how you like the results of what you do.
