Default C3 Registry

Do most members on CF put their C3 on the C3 Registry? I've owned my '71 for 40 years and don't have it listed.

I listed my 65 in C2 and my 72 in C3. There's not any personal info required. You can enter whatever you want to except the vin should be correct.

I took it as you don't have yours on the registry. I'm still not sure if I want to list mine.

What's the negative? Positive is it's on record as still alive.

Mine`s on there, but it was from the previous owner. I "created an account"... but still can`t figure out how to edit the information.

I see no harm - mine's listed. Maybe a previous owner will search to see if their old Vette is still kicking around. Would love to correspond with a previous owner(s) of my car. Now, contact with the original owner of my '68 would be awesome.

You didn't ask WHO has their cars listed?

But, no mine aren't.

I listed mine probably about 10 years ago. No adverse affects/regrets, and every now and then I look to see if someone has one listed close to my VIN just for the heck of it.

You have to e-mail the administrator and he will attach your user name to the vin and then you can edit.

When I was researching C3 corvettes I used to go there looking for information about these cars.
When I bought my C3, I was like others on here and thought it might be handing out to much of my info.
After reading this thread I may go over there and take a look at it again.
My 70 coupe is going to be almost finished (hopefully) by the end of this year.
I'll reconsider placing my cars on the registry.

Mines listed and its never been an issue. There is really no down side as you don't have to supply any personal info unless you want to.

I ended up finding the original owner of my '63 from the C2 registry.

Mine is listed. What's cool is that you can page back through the previous owners of your car if they listed it. I can see who the last two owners of mine were.

I can't find out how to see previous owners. How do you do that?
