You could try installing a hydraulic clutch set-up to make the pedal pressure less of an issue for her.
Just a thought, if that is something she doesn't care for.

Trade the LT 1 on a nice BB auto, that way you get a little something for you.
That will cost him a whole lotta dough in the long run.
