i was just comparing the old weatherstrip to the new stuff i bought from corvette america and noticed the new upright is hollow and the old one seems to have foam in the hollow portion. Has anybody out there installed a kit from CA? do i need to get some kind of foam?
I would be inclined to say someone inserted that.
My '68 uprights are collapsed and tired but hollowed as the new one on the left.
I think it was inserted to spread out the old one.
Looks like the foam rope for around windows and garage doors.
Are they both that way?
