INterior Space C4 compared to C3? 2.0

I feel like I have more room in my C3s than my 86 C4. From the drivers position that is. The C4 cockpit seems a little more cramped, and the door sills make it difficult to get into the car.
But from an overall interior space, the C4 has that won. I can fit two average sized suitcases for trips, where as the C3 I can barely squeeze one into the cargo area.
So for solo trips, I take the C3. For me and my wife trips, we take the C4.

The C4 has more shoulder room and storage in the rear, but the C4 passenger foot room is about half what a C3 has.
