Default what are these....
Working on the rear under carriage on my 82 ....
I'm at a loss at what this bracket is for . Its bolted to the rear absorbing bumper with 2 bolts .

I think those are for towing or protecting the car if it is towed by older hook trucks I could be a million miles off though LOL

maybe an assembly line bracket, just like the ones they leave on the engine intake during install.
