headlight bezel

Has anyone painted their Headlight bezel black. Mine are currently replacement (Primer gray). My 1973 vette is Red with black rocker panels. I know they are supposed to be painted the same color as the body, but I thought Black would look nice.

Any one have any pictures of their black bezels, please post!

I don't think it's a big deal to paint them black. They only come at night anyways. Who's really gonna see them?

I painted mine satin black. I have a white car and I didn't like how I could see the white bezels through the front grilles when the lights were down.

My problem is the previous owner put a beautiful paint job on the car and for some strange reason he never repainted the bezel's so they always look a little ratty and out of place to me. I'm probably the only one that really notices as everyone else only sees them at night, but it still bugs me.

I have black bezels on my Steel Cities Gray 71 coupe....
and I agree the black looks better behind the grills when they`re down.

The bezels should always be the same color as the car, old school.

Yes the lights are square, but, the color of the bezel should match the color of the car. Just saying
