Can someone verify what I think I'm reading in the TIM&JG? In 68, only non-A/C cars with TI got the 110696 alternator, correct? Reason I ask is my 68 standard ignition/non A/C L36 car has one. The date code on it is perfect and while I suppose it very well could have been changed seems like a lot of trouble to go to for the wrong alternator. Thanks.
