Default Luggage Rack Hardware

i'm going to drop my rusty leaking fuel tank out of my '72 soon.
so i thought i'd replace the rubber washers under the luggage rack, whilst i can get to the stubborn well nuts that keep spinning.

i have found a corvette fastener site that sells them, and even lists the OD size, 1-7/16".
we have rubber punchouts at work the correct diameter.
but what size hole is in the center?

well nuts are 1'4"-20 x (i think) about 1" long.

yes, you can buy kits over there, but it would cost me more in postage to import than it would to source local bits

The ones I have here (just checked) are 5/8 ID, 1-7/16 OD ans 1/16 thick.
The important thing is to match the size and thickness of the head on the well nuts you can get

does the gasket sit around the head of the well nut to centralise it?
have seen some with large holes, and some with smaller holes, like only the body of the well nut passes thru.

just trying to get the parts ready so i dont have too much down time when i start.

On mine the washer has the larger hole to sit around the wellnut and is the same thickness as the head of it. This way they are flush all the way across and the larger washer (stainless on mine but like that in your picture there) sits flat. If the rubber washer had a small hole (1/4) it would sit ontop of the wellnut and have a gap at the car where stuff could get under.
