I'm looking at buying a tire wheel combo off ebay for my father/son project vette. I was leaning towards 15" 5 spokes for the Ol'school look I like but my son wants something newer like 17"'s. I'm on a budget but can swing the ebay deal I found. the package has the 5 spokes I like with 17 X 8 (4.5"BS) with 235-45zr17 bfg's and 17 X 9 (5"bs) with 275-40zr17' bfg. they say they fit with no modifications to the stock suspension, which is what I want. Just wondering if anyone else has bought or used this company for tire/wheel packages and did they fit ok?
I am old school and want my 15"s but the widest tire for 15" is 295 50 15 and it's on the way out, 17 or 18 will be here a while and offers lots more tire options...something to consider, I hate it but when I get the funds will go 17 or 18
they are from Custom Wheels Market (CWM) the wheels are their Retro line that looks like the old 5 spoke from the 70's. the tires are BF Goodrich sport comp-2's. heres a link to the ad.

I have seen the wheels in 15" from this company on a friends 67 camaro but it was just standard 15 x 8 set up and he didn't have to deal with trailing arms or spring ends.
I like the wheels and the tires they will be putting on, just want to make sure the stagger & sizes will fit like they say (on a stock suspension) from people that own c3's or have similar combinations.
Also with you'll need longer wheel studs with spacers. Just put on new wheels myself 18×8 all around. 0 offset with 4 1/2 back space needed 1/2" spacers

Odd. A friend and I both put 17x8 with 4.5bs all the way around and no issues at all. Both 70, 1 coupe, 1 vert.
