Well after a lot of tear down and refurbishing and replacing parts my build is finally going back together. It is no factory gem, but I hope it will be practical and reliable when I finish. Some items are not original but I am getting it done the best I can without spending an absolute fortune on it.
Frame and parts have been painted, rear suspension done and front suspension mostly in. Brake and fuel lines mostly done. Just have to get her back on her feet and then in with the engine, transmission and exhaust. The reassembly sure beats the tear down!
Not too many racoons here in Australia Doorgunner but I hear what you are saying. More likely a bit of old maggoty kangaroo hide! Hope to have a pic of the motor and trans installed in a couple of weeks.
