Is it backwards?
I was looking thought some ads and saw a 1976 with the brake booster and master cylinder on the passenger side. My 1976 is on the drivers side as it should be.
I thought perhaps it was some aftermarket right hand driver conversion..but no it's still left hand drive.
Any thoughts on why it would be this way?

More than likely the picture was flipped. If it is left hand drive - the brake pedal is directly connected to the booster. It would be ridiculously stupid to set up some kind of linkage and mount the booster on the other side, while still driving on the left.
