Wire plug help

Does anyone recognize where this goes? It has a fusible link, a couple grounds and at the other end goes into a purple wire.

Purple is usually the starter safety switch. Probably an after market kill switch wired in with the yellow wire replacing the other purple wire originally connected there.

Well I spoke to the original owner he doesn't recognize it and says he didn't add anything.

To my recollection, GM did not use in line fuses on C3s. Have you checked the AIM to see whether it shows it?

Yes, from what I can see its not there but I admit Im not a great manual guy, Its not laid out well to me but Im a techie not a car guy so. But I questioned the fusible link myself.
