Daytime running lights
Are there any on this model?
Thanks
- Jeffrey

It takes some time to wire up the control module to the front lamps and back to the fuse box.

Yes, when the 69 come back home..."if"

it ever comes back home that tag will get transfered to it...

From the real topic of this thread even though I do not like leds on classics so many led options out there I will do something for day time lights no good reason not too...now it's back on topic

din't like the look of adding any other LED's to spoil the looks...
old photo, (only one on my phone), they are much brighter now
i originaly bought a module from a vendor but it blew up after a month,
and they wouldn't honour replacement, because, get this, "cause i live outside the US".
so couple relays, some diodes and a large capacitor later i turned my indicators into DRL's.
switch on when needed, turn off with parks lights come on,
turn indicator on, and they go off, flash/flash/flash, turn indicator off and they come back on about 8sec later.
i use the longlife filliment blubs, the brightest i could find. (led's illegal unless originaly fitted)
painted my reflectors white, (mine were painted black when i got the car).
have been told that they stand out when i'm hanging way back,

It is not just the park lamps on although it may be on that yellow car. The DRL module works on the bright (turn signal) filament of the normal #1157 bulb or in my case a #2357. It is very bright and the turn signal function is not altered at all. It does turn off when the headlights are on and reverts to just parking lamps.
I like the Australian fellow suffered a module failure several years ago when I originally installed on my 1974 (and I had one on my 1967 many moons ago) and they gave me the "you are outside of the USA" excuse re warranty. I was not happy with that reply and made some veiled threats re product reputation. Both my Corvettes were featured on their web site. I received a replacement module shortly thereafter.
