Rear Strut Rod Inner Mounting Bracket
Are all C3 Rear Strut Rod Inner Mounting Brackets the same ? I see some with a small tab welded on . I have a 77 and not sure of witch one is right ?

Suspension upgrade kits will have a new bracket. The attach points for the inner strut rods...the end of the strut rod that attaches near the differential, will be lowered about 3/4 of an inch (?). This means the strut rod will always be parallel to the rear half-shafts.
The best modified brackets are brackets that were OEM/NOS brackets. The repro brackets have accuracy problems. Tom's Differentials sell modified OEM/NOS brackets. I've compared his brackets with aftermarket repro brackets...there is a difference in tolerances.
