I have a 68 coupe. When looking for sun visors I notice that 68's are in there own category and that 69-73'ish are lumped in together. Is this strictly for color reasons or is there a physical (size/structure) difference between them? I get the smooth, weave... material type differences. And I will be dying all of the interior parts for consistency. I also understand the hardware difference between the years. I guess I'm just curious if they are all the same size? Will my 68 hardware work on a 69, 70, 71... (you get the point) visor?
Hi;
Just purchased new visors from Willcox for my '73 Vert and they measure 12.5 X 4.5 . I do not have the screws in mine that are giving you trouble. Hope this helps.

68 visors are one year only for 68 due to the screws used to keep tension on the supports.
That's what I thought Mike. I only ask because all of the aftermarket ones that I've seen don't have holes in the visor for the screws. So I'm guessing you just locate where they go by feel once the end rod is put in. That's what sparked my question... If they're all the same "size" in the aftermarket world does it really matter if it's a "68" visor or not?
