Default Stupid Seat Question

Ok. Sorry in advance for the idiocy here.

I only looked at it for about 2 minutes, so maybe it's easy to figure out, but the hard plastic covers on the back of my seats need a freshening respray. So I need to take them off. There are two screws at the bottom of each seat, but after I removed them, there was still some magical, unknown adherence of the plastic back to the top of the seat that didn't seem to involve a slot or clasp or some such mechanism. Not wanting to break the seat back at the top, I didn't caveman the thing off. I assume there has to be a simple way to detach the top portion.

Mea culpa: I didn't look at my AIM, I didn't examine the back thoroughly... But I still ask the expert panel here for a little time saving tip to satisfy my curiousity.

As always, thanks in advance for your time and expertise.
