I need to see a good photo of the area on the underside of a t top assembly showing how the weatherstrip looks at the point where the inner piece matches up to the outer piece. Keep in mind the 68 and 69 are probably the only ones that will have this condition because I think after that year they went to a one piece weatherstrip. I have mine installed but the inner piece appears to be long and runs over the top of the outer piece. Not sure how to clean that joint up.

Do you mean where the angle at the windshield pillar W/S meets the angle cut on the front portion of the T-top side W/S? Lou.

No, not the front or windshield end. The back end. My strip extends a couple of inches longer and I'm not sure how to terminate it. Just trim it flush or does it wrap under or over the inside weatherstrip? Or does it tuck in somewhere? I don't want to cut it and then find out I messed it up. Not that that would be the first time that ever happened. I'll try and add a pic of mine on here tomorrow so you can see what I'm talking about.

Again, old timer's disease, but I vaguely remember having to trim something on the back end of the straight weatherstrip. Hope that this helps. Lou.

I had the same issue with my 68. I just trimmed it flush and it works fine. Not like it will ever see rain again though. Yep, baby is turning into a garage queen.
