Default 1976 C3 windshield washer synchronization

My wipers work but if I let them run they would get tangled again like they did in January breaking the driver wiper.

Is there is way to reset the arms to factory synchronization?

Is the driver wiper supposed to be lower than the passenger wiper when at rest after turning them off.

Any other ideas about how to resolve this issue?

Thanks

I sent the following questions to Wilcox and they were unwilling to answer....maybe someone can help.

a) the diagram shows the driver wiper to be "over" (higher on windshield) than the passenger wiper.
Am I seeing this properly because my driver side wiper is below the passenger.
b) in order to correct the position should I use the trans ASM nuts to adjust the position of the driver wiper arm to be like the picture?
c) is LH passenger and RH driver?

I'll give this a shot. It reads in the diagram the RH blade to be above the LH blade. As that could be confusing, the diagram shows the Drivers side blade to be above the passenger side blade. It also reads in the last line to use the trans ASM nuts for adjustment.

Your interpretation is the same as mine. Could the instructions be more confusing?

Actually it doesn't appear confusing to me, BUT I'm not in front of our car, and I'm not working on this project. Reading it does seem to be fairly straight forward to me. Sorry I couldn't help any more than that.

Thanks. The ASM ARM nuts seem to be the key. Hopefully, they will allow me to adjust the arms per the diagram.

From the way I read it, they are looking at it from the outside of the car, not from sitting in the car. So the LH is the passenger side blade. My car is in pieces so I can't look to see the way they are positioned. Hope this helps..T
