Default Need help with spark plugs

1978 L48 all stock with shorty headers, side pipes and stock Q-jet carb. All emission crap removed when purchased. The car seems to run good with no issues. I pulled the plugs the other day when replaced the wires and noticed they are burning "lean or hot?". I replaced with Accel5768 to help with clearance at the headers. I pulled them today and they look similar to the ACR45TS originally installed.
Do I need to be running a "colder" plug? If so can you suggest the plug? Would like to stay with a short plug with the headers. How about Accel574S or the ACR43TS if I have to stay with the original length?
Thanks for everyone's help.
The Accel is on the left in the pic.

They're supposed to look like that when everything is working right. If the electrodes were getting burned and the center ceramic was getting blistered that would indicate they're a bit too hot. But yours are fine so rest easy..................

Thanks friends, I was on my way to the parts store when I got toobroketoretire's reply. I have to learn if it isn't broke don't fix it.
