Well we pulled the trigger yesterday on this 1972 Coupe that has been, well, lets say slightly modified, and I am looking for ideas from forum members on what they think finishing this one out might look like in their eyes. All ideas are welcomed but don't be offended if I go a different direction please.
Large flare on the wheel wells, all four sides, to accommodate much wider tires and wheels.
I will probably swap out the L88 hood for a stock C-3 hood or maybe modify that stock C-3 hood I have to make a custom looking car. Ideas welcome.
This is a first for me, three lights on each side in the rear, need to research this a bit more but isn't this similar to a Mako Shark?
So please share your thoughts and ideas here, and thank you for helping me plan out this next build.

I like it. I think I would continue the path of the previous builder. I've only seen 3 tailights on C2s, but these don't look bad. I like the L88 hood, but you may like a more "custom" hood.
Since you already have holes in the back-what about something like this-
Don't need the wing-and the diffuser is a little too big- but you get the picture-
I'm on the Hotrod Power Tour and there seems to be a big resurgence of autocross cars-There was probably 4000 show cars and the parking lot autocross drew most of the attention-
I never cared for the triple rear lights, but the car would look much better if the front was lowered considerably (engine out of it?).
Yes, engine and transmission are out of the car and I agree with you completely, much better lowered. Not sold on the three lights yet, may do something custom back there, love the ideas.
Thanks.

I hear you, love the L88 hood, just want to get an idea of how it would fit in with the overall "look" of the car. Good point on the 3 taillights, might be fun to create a new look back there. Thank you.

Wow, that is very close to what I have here. Very interesting and very clean looking. Nicely done on your car and thank you for sharing it with me.

So I'm thinking that type of look-

Richard, as always, you come through with another great idea. I like this look, gives me something to consider now that I did not previously. Fun to think about and thank you again for sharing this.

Road Racer! Full coil, over suspension. With those big flares we can stick monster rubber under it. Big Inch SB or if you want real power a 502 with a roller cam. If Jeff is spot on which he usually is my coil over setup might be swapped out. I'll tell later on that deal. But it includes everything so I have a 12 bolt rear under mine so the power will be handled. Loud side pipes. Just obnoxious
