Default C2 side pipes on a C3?

I've see the C2 factory side pipes on a C3. Can this be done without too much if any modification? Thanks. Rick

there are a few forum members that have done it. Not much more modding than putting C3 side pipes on. DO a few searches here. ONe member was Billem, I believe. I actually have seen his car and I have a set of C2 pipes sitting here, waiting for me to get that far down the TO DO list. The ony thing I have found that needed to be adapted was a small piece of fiberglass at the back lower corner of the front fenders, about 5 x 1 inches needed to be removed.

I'd started down the Hooker path before I saw any C3s with these... Depends on the character of car you're after, but I really like this look. IMO this style flows better with the C3 than the factory C3 style...

Not sure who's car this is, but very nice!

I have C2 sidepipes on my C3 under stock C3 covers since the mid 70's. They fit but need to be shortened to fit into the outlet opening of the covers or leave the pipe the stock length and cut the back part of the cover off which will allow the chrome tip to be seen.

Not C2 pipes, they were an option on the 69 C3. Can be retro fitted to other C3s.
