More videos, these are of the hood closing on the newly altered air cleaner. The inch that was removed has provided the needed clearance for the rubber seal to do its work.

As see in the photo …

So still out here in the Phantom Garage being creative, but late winter temps have decided to return, so it is a bit brisk.

… the teeth chattering beat goes on …

I’ve been cleaning up the under dash, adding future considerations wiring and that’s when I realized that an opportunity to separate the emergency brake indicator from the master cylinder brake warning indicator. I have no pop up headlights on this car so I had an opportunity to remove that indicator in favour of a new, so with the old script sanded away …

Once together we get this!

It works, a little black out on the edges, and hope it never lights up!!

… and the beat goes on …

My buddy has one of those big red buttons on his bracket car, and calls it the same thing.
When he blows the light, or doesn't cut a .003 light or better, he says O* S*** and hits that and the hidden nitrous system lets him play catch up!
He has 2 or 3 tricks at the finish line too.
He's a heck of a bracket racer!
Won a couple big ones.

Max speed … ok more a suggestion …

Kinda wish the display was blue or green, but it gives me way more info than I’ll ever use.

… and the beat glows on …

Oh and the emergency brake indicator works like a charm, planning … what a novel concept!

All this success, wonder when the other shoe will fall?

… and the beat goes on …
