Good morning. I have a C3 vette that I'm having issues trying to adjust the door strike. It seems to close hard and when it does close the door moves around about a 1/2 inches of play. I tried moving the strike up down left right and no luck . Any thoughts? Thx in advance. Also have another problem. My left blinker does not work the front and rear stay on solid but no blink. The right side works correctly. The 4 way flasher works and can feel it blink . Fuses are good. So does that mean the turn signal switch has a loose wite or defective? Thx everyone.

Are you aware there are 2 flashers, one in fuse box the other behind passenger side dash pad?
If you roll the window down, does it effect the door closing?

By "Play"....do you mean the door moves "in and out" or "up and down"?
Is the thick black weatherstrip around the door in good shape, or is it flattened?
Is the weatherstrip missing?

For the door issue I would be looking at the hinges for excessive play.

no I was not aware of 2 relays. I only saw the one in the fuae blocks. Thanks for the tip.
1st time vette owner. ownerw down does not affect it. When the door is closed it moves in and out . I have tried moving strike plat3 towards the inside of car thinking it would make it grab better but no luck.

I don't believe the door jamb striker bolt is the issue here at all. But will need adjustment later.
But I do hope the striker is not moving on you. Maybe the threads are shot behind the jamb.
I assume you are torquing the striker with an allen socket? Did anyone add a washer / shim to the striker?

With the problem door window all the way down, close the door hard while standing outside of it.
Then get the brightest flashlight you have and shine it down inside the door while trying to move the entire door in & out.
I bet it's the latch mechanism is coming loose.
Check the latch fasteners tightness at the jamb.

If you open the door about a foot and lift upwards, does the whole door pivot up and down? If so, the pins and bushings should be replaced. This is a very common wear item as the doors are quite long and heavy and put a lot of wear on the bushings. If it's really worn, the door will sag and hit the latch plate edge instead of going directly in.
