Default Help identify these wires?

I was working under the dash today and found these wires hanging loose, anyone who can identify these. PO must have been BUBBA, cleaned up a lot of his work today.

Orange and white wires were probably for a courtesy light. Not sure what the plug went too.

Thanks, that could explain why I have no courtesy lights. Bubba was busy on this one.

I reviewed the wiring diagram and could not locate the plug, hopefully someone will chime in with some info. 78 L48 auto. The plug is located between the fuse box and steering column area.

Thanks

I have a similar connector on my 74 (though different color wires) that goes to the clutch position switch (or whatever it's called). Perhaps it is a manual car's harness or used to be a manual car? Shot in the dark here since I don't have a diagram so I apologize if that's just me over thinking
