I am considering consigning a few cars with Mecum Auctions in the fall as well as possibly purchasing a couple cars through the same auction. Does anyone have any positive or negative feedback with their past buying/selling Mecum experience? I would also be interested in hearing about other auction companies if anyone is interested in sharing. Any advice/information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Clayton, how about showing the forum the cars you are thinking about sending to the auction.

Be realistic about the price you can expect. It costs a lot of money just to get a car there and enter it, so don't let whatever you've heard about two rich dudes fighting it out and paying ridiculous prices cloud your reason.
Know the price your car has to bid to, to get the net amount you want. Doing the math in real time is tough.
Be realistic about the date/time slot you want. Everyone thinks TV time is best, but few people buy while watching TV.
