I'd say about $8k to $12k if the paint is in decent shape. If it has AC, a few grand more.. Also, value depends on engine option.. My estimate is based on base engine..

This is all of the answers i got on some of the questions I asked.
numbers matching, yes 350 L82
restored few years ago (assuming frame on?)
Air conditioining, yes
according to the owner everything is "good" and "show quality"... vague
oil leak, powers steering leak
T roof are not air, water tight
At first I was told it was LT1 but after I did my homework I realized that LT1 isn't avail on 73's.... and said L82 possibly. 350 HP
Just wondering whether to drive 3 hours to see it or not. remember USD/CAD exchange is 25%
Looks like the fifth digit in VIN should be "T" for a L82 car. The engine stamp pad code for an L82 4sp is "CLR" or "CLS" for a California emissions car.
Oh yeah an original stock 1973 L82 is listed at 250 hp, not 350.
I would suggest to have a look at local cars and drive a couple to get an idea of what to expect generally speaking.
If you are willing to drive, there are a few in Calgary and Edmonton. Quite far, I know.
I would also be careful with the pictures: sellers tend to post the best ones they have and they can be pretty old. 5-10 years old pics are not uncommon. The flash is also very good at hiding little defects and making the interior look a lot better than it really is.
From what I have seen lately, the canadian market is not as good as the american one, and with the current exchange rate, I felt kind of stuck with buying canadian when I was looking for mine...
Nothing will ever replace seeing and driving the car.
Would you drive the car back or put it on a trailer?
3 hours drive with an unknown car with unknown maintenance seem quite daunting to me.
Quite a few things to consider...

You haven't listed an asking price. Is the seller asking a realistic figure or is he/she off in la-la land?
You have to decide whether this car interests you enough to make the trip to see it. If there is nothing with this car which makes you feel warm and fuzzy, stay home and keep looking.

I would say 15to 18 , L-82 4-speed with air is fairly rare, nice car
If the car is all correct and the AC is working, that sounds like a good ballpark estimate. Quality of paint is a huge consideration too.. If it truly is show quality, it's definitely worth close to $20k as a good show paint job is usually over $10k.

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
