Doug, Some is and some isn't. But I will help you all that I can. I have a a good amount of knowledge on 68's, but only because mine has been a driver with 117,000 miles, now. If your engine is all original, please have the timing chain replaced. GM put an aluminum gear with cast nylon teeth in our high performance engines!!! My 327/350 HP engine's gear went in 1975 with about 43,000 miles on it.
