Throttle cable
Hi AND THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP
Next problem is the throttle cable for my 78 vette converted to a 454 bbc finds the throttle cable is to short ,do they make a longer one or do I need to use a cable from a 74 454 vette.

I just broke a cable on my '81. I bought a Lokar cable. They are universal and adjustable. Just trim the cable and housing to the length that you need. Bought mine through Summit Racing. 
Be sure to buy the recommended cable bracket to use with your specific carburetor type.
