sequence for assembling front suspension ?

sequence for assembling front suspension ?

1969 Corvette 350/350

Maybe a silly question but I was thinking :

1. Lower control arm

2. Upper control arm

3. Spring..

(Do I need to compress spring at this point?)

4 Wheel hub

Does that seem correct?

guess I would do lower arm, install compressed spring, spindle, upper arm but yours should work too

I'd hang the upper arm with the spindle, then the lower arm and spring. When the lower arm goes up with the spring, you already have the upper arm and spindle to catch it.

I would do it this way.

Upper arm,
spring held in place with compressor! Make sure it's seated in the top pocket.
Lower arm with jack under it.
Install spindle on lower arm and raise the jack
Install spindle to upper arm
Tighten ball joints and release the compressor.
