Default Shifter console wiring question....'72

'72 4 speed with A/C if that makes a difference....I'm pretty sure none of these wires were plugged in anywhere when I took the console out. I have the AIM and wiring harness schematics but still can't figure them all out. First pic....Wire seems to come from under the gauge console....?
Second pic I can't figure out the double purple wire....? I think I have the other 2 figured out.

The purple and purple / white are for the neutral safety switch if an automatic trans was installed

And clutch safety sw with a 4 spd.
The black, black & white I do believe is your ammeter wire.

I cannot tell you how many hours I studied these diagrams putting my 72 back together. And the really bad part is I would figure it all out, then delay hooking anything up and have to figure out where they all went again. Lol.

The gray wire is not a cig lighter. That is usually an orange wire. The gray wire is used for console lighting.

An extender connects to this gray wire, which illuminates the PRND21 (on AT).

Thank Ya'll for the help....I had to drop the gauge console to get the ammeter wire connected back up.....I thought I could just reach up in there and hook it back up.....Yea right. About the only screw that was actually holding much was the top center screw, all the side screws just spun in there holes. I had to use bigger screws to put it back together, but between them and the radio brace I made it fits much better than before.
