Would like thoughts on which hood you think would look better on this 1970 Restoration Modified Corvette ??

Both are very sweet looking the L-88 is a time less beastly racer looking scoop, the so called Motion phase hood is also sweet and I would run it "IF" the lower 68-72 BB scoop didnt have the dips filled and looked stock, I dont like it having the motion stigma...
I was thinking about making one but cant find the 68-72 bb LT-1 scoop to start with.
The real question isn't which scoop I would run...the real question is which scoop do YOU like better?

Boy that's a tough decision; I like both hoods. I guess what might help with the decision would be if we knew what the paint was going to look like. Are you planning to add any stripes to the hood like the Motion cars had or will it be a solid color?

I was planning on the white with black stripes (Motion design ) since I have the Motion back window ,flared fenders and reverse gills ,LS 5 M-21 and 4 point roll cage .I debating to do the 240Z headlights .everything else other than headlights was done years ago .
Thanks

From my research it appears the later of the motion Vettes used the stinger hood and earlier ones used the L 88 style
I might do the 240Z head lights and really P@ss of the non resto-mod boys .GO ALL THE WAY

Well...after you saying what the car has and it's signature motion items seems fitting to run the stinger and do the z headlights go for a motion inspired custom, it will be very popular even with some purists....

Wait a minute...all those custom items were sold by other companies besides motion you could run the hood you like and be a bit more one off...

I cant make up my mind what front clip to run on my car so I am using 3 different ones....so i sure cant tell you how to build YOUR car.........
