Replacing the under hood insulation. The insulation has a unfaced side (fuzzy) and a smooth shiny side. Question ? Which side goes down towards the engine compartment ?
the hood insulation on my 79 can only be installed one way, as the underside isn't symetrical. there's a diff near the hood latch area (see pic). maybe yours is like that too?

I just replaced ours this past winter. I forget where I found the info (but probably here on the forum), but the info I found said 'fuzzy side' goes towards the engine. Based on the picture, standswithabeer put his on the same way.
