I have a 23K mile C3. Its all original less the Tires, front and rear bumpers and front end bushings.
If I drive the car a while, there is a chirping on the rear drivers side that I think is the emergency break pad/spring.. Sometimes there is no chirp at all.
Rotors are riveted and I am not sure if I should drill them and address the issue or just leave them be. I only drive the car a few miles a month during the nice weather.
I know its only a 76.. but I want to keep it as original as possible.
Drilling out the rivets is no big deal. They were only there to keep the rotors from falling off on the assembly line. Better to have a look and fix something minor, than to wait and chance a major problem later on. As John Belushi said "Don't cost nothin..."
