I pulled off the top t-shaped chrome piece from the frame to remove some residue and create a better seal. I noticed under it there was some sort of crumbling foam strip and some black greasy goo (I think that's the technical term).
I want to scrape this stuff off and replace it before putting the chrome piece back on. Yalls thoughts on what I should use? thanks!
