Alternator Bracket.....
The top alternator bracket on my 81 has a threaded hole around the middle of the bracket. I am told that this threaded hole is to hold another bracket to support and keep the top radiator hose off the alternator bracket. Does anyone have a picture of this hose support? TIA

Thank you both very much. I was under the impression that the bracket held up the upper radiator hose from leaning on the alternator bracket. But, now I see that the bracket actually stops the V belt from hitting the hose, thanks again.
