Default gauge cluster lamps

Anyone have a good fix for wires broken off lamp sockets? The grey wire single terminal lamp sockets. (1974)

If you still have the copper end off the wire (the nub that contacts the bottom of the bulb, you can solder it back to the wire. Otherwise jury rig a replacement nub using a clipped off male end of a butt connector and solder it to the wire.

IIRC, the illumination lamp sockets are being reproduced. Check with Willcox.

I always use a 3/32" pop rivet then crimp the wire into it. They're not copper but steel works just as good for a little #1895 bulb.

The above procedure worked for me when I broke 4 off when trying to get my tach/speedometer back into the dash.

I always remove all those crappy single bulb connectors and replaced with these sockets,
with 2 wire wedge type connector, .... much better, and more reliable.
1 source for sockets : http://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/24-8812
add in some Leds, and your all set to go.
