68 convertible top cover removal
I am trying to gain access to the rear body mount bolts and it looks like I need to remove the convertible top cover. The body mount bolts appear to be covered by the convertible top cover hinge and spring linkage. I have located two bolts at the top of the hinge but I cant seem to get to the one on the inside between the linkage and the inside fender to get it out and I know I would never get it back in if I did get it out.
So is there another way to get to the body mount bolts? I have already cut the nut off the of the body mount from the underside but I will need to get to the top side to remove whats left of the body mount bolt.
