Too late
Front center grill was a little tight and had a small mishap putting in the window trim seal. Should have masked off around where I was working.
Oh well, had to happen sooner or later, just wish it was later.

It looks great. Getting all the trim pieces back on is a big task, but worth it when your looking at such a nice paint job.

Finished the weatherstripping today, although I have not started on the ttops yet.
Rocker panels are next.
Then window adjustment before I put the doors back together
A never ending stack of parts
New weatherstripping makes a big difference

Could I ask what the cost of the repaint was? Looking to get one done soon.

Bottom line: $6000
I had 5 quotes from $5500 to $10,000
This was a pretty significant expenditure for me. It took a ton of work and a lot of patience. I am very pleased with the outcome, however it is still not perfect. I had to forfeit perfection to get a very good paint job and something that was reasonable.

Did you do any of the prep work yourself? Stripping, etc? Did it need any body work?

It looks very nice. Forget perfection. I'm not really sure absolute perfection is even possible. Enjoy your corvette.

I tooK everything off before taking it to the paint shop.
I put a new flex fiberglass front and split rear bumper on as well myself first
This car had no body damage at all, so no body work required
Seams were splitting so they were all ground out and sealed back up with epoxy
Lots and lots of sanding and dust
I hope it lasts
