While cleaning the interior I came across a rolled up cable over the gas break. After pulling it out one end was not hooked up to anything, the other end runs behind the dash right over the override headlight switch right over the hood release lever and going into the side (so I am not able to trace it completely).
Any ideas? Could this be a door ajar or maybe alarm connection since neither works?
Doesn't look factory to me. I've had entire dashes out of a couple of C3's and never saw anything like that. It's probably what Easy Mike says or something similar.
