when did or did the engine change from orange to corporate blue

mine is orange in my 76

Blackbook says "between August 23 and September 7, 1976." Affects only early 77 production.

I can confirn this. I had an early '77 back in the day. It was VIN sequence 2032 if memory serves. The engine was blue.

I know a lot of people hate the blue engines, but I personally think they look great. One day I'll do a big block swap and paint it blue, that will really get people going

In the early production '77s they went to blue. My Vette was built in March and mine is corporate blue...

My 77 has the orange engine. Vin number ends in 0654. I don't know the build date.
