You are not serious? You drive a Corvette at -40. That is where *F and *C meet. That is serious cold that we saw here a lot of last winter. I can't see a Corvette out in those temps.
LOL if you look close at my avatar you'll notice cardboard in front of the grill. I mount it underneath the rad too. I don't drive in the city , but I take it out on the highway to visit a buddy 60 miles out a couple times a month. Hit some black ice 2 years ago so my wife insisted I buy some wheels and winter tires.
Last year I bought a '39 Ford hot rod. Yeah that's seen -30C last winter a couple times. Life is too short to hide everything in the garage for 6 months.

Somethings can't be made up. I work eastside of Cleveland, Ohio where the major snow belt is. One day going home from work in the middle of a snowstorm what did I see ... that's right a corvette plowing (as best as he could) thru the snow and slush. Because this is a family channel I won't repeat what I said to myself about that guy. So to a certain point COUPERDECAR has a good point. However, mine would never see the snow and ice. I trust my driving skills BUT it's the others around me I fear!

I never officially mothball the Vettes. I drive them year round as long as the roads are clear and dry. Unfortunately the last couple of winters have been brutal so driving was limited.
OK ladies and gents ... with Labor Day fast approaching when do you officially put the baby to bed? I live in Northeast Ohio so I have about another 2 months (give or take a few days) to enjoy her.
What say you guys?
So glad I live in California, I put my vette away... Never of course we're not perfect, we have to deal with California yahoos, which are everywhere year round

That big snowpile up in Boston took it's time melting. At least this year we will be in Fla for the month of January for the NCRS event in Lakelland and the Mecum in Kissimmee. I'm sure we'll return to another pile of snow
