mechanically I am not very good, but body wise and interior im not bad.

I had a 93 lexus sc400, and even that car, despite its incredible engineering, was in need of quite a bit, like all the rubber mounts and bushings, tune up, dry and cracking leather etc... age really takes a toll on cars.

I guess my main concern is engine and tranny, and something is telling me to perhaps buy one that has been dealt with already, either rebuilt or swapped.

Thanks again
I have owned a C5 and currently own a C6 and a C3 1975 convertible.

Imagine a 1993 Lexus in 2033... even if you kept it in your living room all that time, many parts of the car will have deteriorated, so a C3's condition will totally depend on how it was cared for, if and how it was restored, etc, etc, etc, etc....

Some simple answers though - you can lower the rear by replacing a couple of bolts. The front will require replacing or cutting the coil springs.

I live in Toronto, and there is a very active group here on the CF in the Canadian section - as 7T2Vette suggested, drop in and say Hi - you'll find all kinds of help and advice on all generations...
