Default Help me date.my '68 please

Trying to tell what month production my 68 'vert is. VIN ends with 416064. The door jamb tag is mangled right where the week/month would be stamped and is no help, plus motor/trans are not correct. Any help is appreciated.

So where would my car fall in the mid year design changes - door panel pulls, seat back latch location, windshield chrome, etc..?

It may not fall any where. 68 running changes appear to have been made as the new parts became available without a specific time line. My car has the low seat back releases. The color keyed door close handles were added by about #19533. The NCRS Technical Information and Judging Guide has tentative dates for some of the changes.
