There is going to be a tribute to the late John Greenwood at Daytona International Speedway on November 12th. It would be great if we could all bring our widebodies to the track. Any Greenwood, ACI or Eckler's widebody is welcome. This is a once in a lifetime event that is not to be missed. Post up some pix and lets get a car count.
Driving around the neighborhood the other week I spotted this gem... it needs paint and appears to be something of 77 model...
Good thing I did not go on the property to get the picture - the Lady of the house drove up while I was standing there admiring the car. I asked if it was OK to have the pictures - she said "no problem, you're not the only one".
I have always thought that the C3 widebody cars were the coolest looking of all the Corvettes. Way back when, they had a yellow 74 convertible that had been turned into a widebody with a beautiful girl in a matching bikini along side of the car on the cover of Car Craft magazine. I wonder what they both look like now?

The Big Banana. That car was on eBay about 6-8 months ago in need of a restoration. On the West Coast I think. I do not know the whereabouts of the bikini or its occupant./:\

That's the one, now just find the girl in the bikini for me. Same, I still have the Car Craft issue somewhere in the basement from hell.
