Anybody else catch the warning? Read where mosquito repellent that contains DEET is a no-no for clear coats...even LACQUER guitar finishes! Forget spraying it near the car...even having it on your skin and rubbing against the finish will damage the surface...and no amount of rubbing or claying or waxing will fix it. Kinda makes one not want to hang around those early evening hot summer cruise nights with all the little kiddies smelling like Off.
PS - Never worried about this kinda stuff back in the day. Better living thru chemistry? Not....
