Default '69 A/C Recs

My brother in law just bought this '69 Coupe. It is a factory a/c car. The condenser is leaking and the compressor may be bad. We had thoughts of replacing the factory a/c set up with an aftermarket set up. We'd like to ask fro advice on a replacement system. Vintage Air? Classic Auto Air? Others? We would like to try to keep the underhood 'look' as original as we can, knowing it is going to change some. I think some vendors are offering a Sanden compressor that looks somewhat like the old A6 Fridgedair? Thanks for any advice.

What's wrong with the original set up? They work fine when properly repaired.

We may fix the original. Just looking at the options.

There's quite a few threads on the subject so try a search and I think you'll find plenty of info. I believe Vintage is the consensus favorite.
