Thank you to Vettebuyer6369 for opening my thread up again for me to continue to document my 72 Road Race Replica build.
I will be getting my 72 back on Monday, June 11th and will take pictures and document the "current" state of the car. I will then make plans to finish the car and get it all documented here on the Corvette Forum.
I appreciate all the support and help I have received, especially from Gordon and his work on the car, during my sabbatical.
Even with my broken foot I hope to make progress in the weeks ahead and thanks again to all that have made it possible for me to return.
Best regards,
David Howard

YAY! I do not understand the ways of this forum - but thanks to the powers for opening this thread cuz lots of us want to watch and learn and follow 'til the car is on the road! And thanks David for continuing to share and teach and build. Hope your foot is healing.

The trailer is loaded with Gordon's 72 Convertible which is now ready to return home. After a long winters nap it is heading home for the attention of its owner.
My 72 Road Race Replica will be returning home on the return ride. I have made space for it on my lift and it will be in the garage once again soon.
I cannot wait to have it back home...so stay tuned, won't be long now.

This has been an amazing thread. I have gone back to it several times as I plan my body off resto/mod. Thanks for continuing on and taking the time to share your amazing work with all of us.

The racer is home now and I am starting my punch list of activities from the data provided by Gordon. Once I have my punch list of activities I will begin to work on them to the finish. Looking more like a finished project every day.
Now to keep the momentum going.
More information soon.

More, and better, pictures will be posted soon of the work on the racer. It is on the trailer on my driveway at the moment and I am preparing to put it in the garage today. I'll get it cleaned up and take some pictures to post.
Best regards,
David

Great news David!
Glad to see her home.
Good luck on the foot recovery. My knee is finally working again and I am cleaning up the shop to get back to work.
Might make it to Carlisle this August along with Bill.
Take care.
Let me know if you need anything.
Dennis

A few more pictures. I moved the racer to the garage lift where the work will begin.
